SLAMDANCE FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2008 AWARD WINNERS
The 14th annual Slamdance Film Festival has announced 15 film and screenplay prize winners in three categories who will share more than $200,000 in cash and prizes, plus, for one winner, guaranteed production of a feature film.

SLAMDANCE FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2008 SHORT FILMS
More than 2,000 short films from over 40 countries were submitted to the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival, and 67 have been selected to screen by the Shorts Programming Committee, which is comprised of Slamdance alumni filmmakers.

The Slamdance Film Festival, the movie showcase with a sole mission to nurture, support and introduce truly independent works, has announced its feature film slate and special program schedule for the 2008 fest, which takes place in Park City, Utah, January 17-25.
