Slamdance Shorts at The Engine
One night only - August 9th! We're showing eight outstanding new short films showcasing some of the best new talent to emerge from the annual Slamdance Film Festival in Park City. The films will be shown on "The Engine", a kinetic sculpture/projection hybrid.
Stick around afterwards for complimentary beer/wine and socializing and take in the brilliantly conceived techno-primitive environment by the Bizzurke Army. $5 suggested donation.
Filmmakers Bryan Jackson, Phil Mucci, Gudrun Cram-Drach, Eric Cheevers and Burke Roberts are scheduled to be in attendance.

“Engineering Cinémathèque” at Studio 1636 marks the first extended showroom for THE ENGINE -- a transportable, kinetic, sculpture/projection hybrid that redefines the art of presentation and introduces a new era of independent screening venue. Designed to be equal in form and function, the 1000 pound steel sculpture houses a rotating 17-foot screen and features a high-end, audio-visual system.
