Warstory
During the underwater shooting of ALEXA, our makeshift, watertight, camera housing developed a small leak. Within moments, our camera was swimming along with the actors and crew. With the sun setting quickly and no possibility for a re-shoot/pickup day, we patched up the camera housing with gaff tape and glue, and made a few frantic calls to several filmmaker friends – attempting to borrow a similar camera. Luckily, one friend came through, and we pulled our last shot off just as the sun went over the horizon. Friendship, once again, saved the day.
