Annual Giving Drive

Annual Giving Drive

As we enter the festival season at Slamdance, we want to thank you for supporting us. Every contribution to Slamdance ignites creativity and makes us stronger.

When a group of neophyte filmmakers came together to form Slamdance in 1995 they wanted more than just a festival. They also wanted to serve as agents of change in filmmaking and digital media, helping to make the works of artists with divergent voices accessible to everyone.

A Message From Our Festival Director:

Since then, our community has grown significantly. We’ve established the ability to launch new films, new careers and new ideas in filmmaking.

You may have read about our festival move to Los Angeles. Building upon our success in Utah, we’ll now be able to grow Slamdance with greater accessibility in the heart of the entertainment industry. Looking ahead to the coming months, we’re excited to launch Slamdance in Los Angeles as an inclusive and dynamic hub for creativity and connection where festival passes cost just $50! We’re also excited about our year-round programs including the new Indie Awards that will spotlight US and Indigenous filmmaking, a free to access film education initiative in the greater Los Angeles area and a nationwide tour of films created by artists with disabilities.

Slamdance has always been committed to the discovery of new films and new filmmakers. We’re proud to serve our artists who challenge norms, move us and advance our culture. Please, consider a generous gift to the Slamdance Group fund today that will help provide for an accessible film festival this coming February and support year-round programming.

Thank you for your consideration. We hope you will experience Slamdance soon and the programs that your gift makes possible.

All donations are gratefully welcomed by Slamdance.
