My Favorite Food is Indian Tacos, My Favorite Drink Is Iced Tea and My Favorite Thing Is Drumming is about the passion for drumming and traditional singing that Derius share with his friends. This film is the affirmation of Derius’ courage.


About the Director

Derius Matchewan Papatie

Derius Matchewan Papatie was born in Val d’Or. His parents are from Kitiganik where he’s now living. Derius is a young singer and an experienced hand drummer who also likes to play hockey and baseball. He learned several songs from his father and he likes to sing at night.
