THE NONDĒ WAY: FUN & DANGEROUS IDEAS TO DISRUPT WHAT ONCE WAS “INDIE” & TO SEPARATE FROM A BROKEN CORPORATE FILM INDUSTRY
Slamdance ‘26 / Market Monday – February 23, 2026
Sponsored by Francis Ford Coppola’s All Movie Hotel
Working from the premise that both Hollywood and Indie are on their death rattles – if not yet quite a rotting corpse – what does an ecosystem that prioritizes the sustainability of the art, artist, audience and ecosystem look like. In collaboration with Slamdance, NonDē presents a rapid-fire feast of dangerous ideas delivered in 10 minute rants, sermons, and pleas…each to build this thing we love – cinema – better than before – and always along practical and positive lines.
NonDē is predicated on the recognition that nothing needs to be this way or that way. Prioritizing sustainability, collaboration, transparency and innovation — a peaceful revolution is upon us and we know you’ll want to leap into the pool. Prepare to be drenched in what the corporate hierarchy considers dangerous, disruptive and mind blowing. Leave with the roadmap to escape our current hell hole!
Discussions will be on a wide range of subjects and approaches from those already deeply committed to the NonDē movement including, but not limited to Ami Vora, Jake S. Weisman, Jon Stahl, Dan Sickles, Annalisa Shoemaker, Avi Setton. Jon Reiss, Courtney Romano, Richard Rushfield, Franklin Leonard, Lela Meadow-Conner, Keith Ochwat, Ted Hope, and Donny Broussard.
Although the event is sold out, seats will become available throughout the day on a first come first serve basis.

“A non-dependent ecosystem predicated on the artists and their team accepting full responsibility for their work each step of the way, never looking for a rescue or a golden elevator, believing in collaboration over competition, mutual support over individual action, transparency over secrecy, sustainability over singular success is the promise of NonDē – and fuck if it is not time yet for you to join the movement.” Ted Hope, NonDē instigator
